Hi, I'm China 👋
I'm a professional artist, art teacher and founder of ArtistAnd.
I've been making art for over 20 years and teaching for more than 7 years. I specialise in realistic drawing and painting, but my favourite part of the job is showing people that they are capable of far more than they think.
I don't believe art should feel intimidating, elitist or reserved for people who went to art school.
I think everyone should get to experience the feeling of making something they're proud of.
China is an absolutely phenomenal teacher. She created a lovely and fun atmosphere throughout the workshop. We will definitely have her back again soon!

Are In Person Art Classes Suitable For Beginners?
Yes. All of my classes are suitable for beginners, and I like to make sure everyone walks away with something they are proud of. Even if you've not picked up a pencil or brush before.
What If I Can't Draw Or Paint?
Don't worry if you've never done any painting or drawing before. I always teach a new skills each lesson so you can build your confidence. A lot of people are in the same boat too so don't worry, you're in good hands.
What Materials Do I Need?
For all of the in person art classes, I'll provide the materials. They are included in the price! You also recieve a free drink so come along, relax and enjoy.
What Type Of Art Classes Do You Offer In Person?

Can I Come To Art Class On My Own?
Yes! Lots of people come to our classes on their own. You won't be expected to make conversation if you don't want to, but they are usually pretty friendly students.
Where Are Your Classes Held?
I run art classes at across London. Drink & Draw is in Balham, Watercolour painting in Waterloo and Victoria.
How Much Does It Cost?
Classes range from £17.50 - £26. The occasional pop up art class may vary in cost.
Are Your Classes For Adults?
The regular in-person classes are primarily designed for adults. I like to create an relaxed environment for adults. I'm afraid the venues are 18+ too.
How Long Do The Art Classes Last?
The classes last for 1.5 hours. We'll start with some warm ups and technical work before a guided artwork.
