What kinds of events do you work at?

I work at a wide range of events including weddings, corporate events, brand launches, private parties, birthdays, award evenings, networking events, and pop-up experiences. Live illustration works particularly well for events that want something creative, interactive, and memorable for guests.

How long does each portrait take?

Most live guest illustrations take around 4–10 minutes per person depending on the style and level of detail. This keeps the experience fast-paced while still giving guests a personalised piece of artwork to take home.

Do guests keep the artwork?

Yes — guests take their artwork home with them on the day. I also take pictures of each one so you can see them after the event too and not miss out. Each live illustration is created on quality paper and can include mount boards, branding, wedding dates, or personalised event details if requested.

What do you need from the venue?

I usually just need:
A small table and chair
Good lighting
Access to the event space around 30 minutes before starting
I bring all art materials and supplies needed for the session.
I do ask not to sit next to the bar or a speaker - it can get quite intense!

How many guests can you draw during an event?

This all depends on what they are wearing, and also a couple of faff points to consider. Taking pictures, or getting the sitter set up, wrapping and giving the artwork. It all adds up. I work as hard as I can to get as many people painting as possible so please bare that in mind when booking.

A rough estimate is as follows:

Watercolours :
3 hours = approximately 25–35 guests
5 hours = approximately 45 –55 guests
Pencil: 
3 hours = approximately 15-20 guests
5 hours = approximately 30 – 35 guests

Do you travel outside London?

Yes. I’m based in London but travel across the UK for weddings, corporate events, and private bookings. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
