Beginner Friendly Brush Lettering Workshop
In collaboration with Crafternoon Tea, Lorna will be our brush lettering workshop guru! Join us for a relaxed and creative way to bring people together. Designed especially for beginners and perfect for groups and teams. Each session is 1.5-hours and offers a calm, enjoyable break from the day-to-day while learning a new skill.
What To Expect
During the brush lettering class, guests will be guided through the basics of modern brush lettering which will include:
- Simple stroke
- Letter shapes
- How to use brush pens
No previous experience is needed!
By the end of the session, everyone will have created their own hand-lettered greeting card to take away, along with the skills and confidence to keep practising.
What is a brush lettering workshop?
A brush lettering workshop is a fun, creative class where you'll learn how to create beautiful lettering using brush pens. You’ll be guided through basic strokes, how to make letter shapes and simple lettering techniques before creating your own hand-lettered design to take home.
Do I need any previous lettering or art experience?
Not at all! Our brush lettering workshops are designed for complete beginners. You don’t need to be artistic or have experience with calligraphy or brush lettering. We’ll show you everything step by step, so you can relax and enjoy learning something new.
How Many Guests Can You Paint?
Brush lettering workshops can be arranged for groups and teams of different sizes. We recommend between 10 - 20 t make sure everyone has access to help if they need it.
What will we do during the brush lettering workshop?
You’ll start by learning the basic strokes used to create brush lettering, then move on to individual letters and words. You’ll learn how to use brush pens and put your new skills into practice.

Yes. The materials needed for the workshop are provided so your group can simply turn up and get creative.

Yes. If you have a particular theme, event or occasion in mind, let us know when you enquire. We can discuss ways to make the workshop work for your team or event.
How Much Does It Cost?
We charge £35 PP, and can offer discounts if you are a large group o charity.
How long does a brush lettering workshop last?
Our standard brush lettering workshop lasts around 1.5 hours.
