How Do Online Art Classes Work?
* All live classes take place online via Zoom.
* Before the session, you'll receive a joining link with your booking and you can find a guide for the materials you'll need on the booking page.
* During the class, I'll demonstrate each stage step-by-step while offering guidance and feedback throughout.
* For Private classes, we'll set up a camera system using your computer and smart phone so I can see your hands at all times which gives me the best way to offer live feedback.
* You can ask questions, work at your own pace and learn alongside other friendly students.
* No previous experience is required.

Hi, I'm China and I'm a professional artist with over 20 years of experience creating portraits, commissions and teaching art.
I've worked in many galleries across London, as well as exhibited in featured exhibitions. My work focuses on realism, and learning how to see from nature.
I founded ArtistAnd to help people discover that art doesn't have to be intimidating. My teaching style focuses on building confidence, developing practical skills and helping students enjoy the process rather than chasing perfection. I'm very informal and friendly, I want you to feel like you can ask me anything and make progress quickly.

Can Anyone Learn How To Draw?
Absolutely. Drawing skills can be taught very effectively online through an easy camera set up, demonstrations, exercises and personalised feedback shown on a drawing software. It's much easier to explain visually using online programmes.
What Materials Do I Need?
For the drawing class ideally a 2B, 8B pencil, paper, and an eraser. Sometimes we use 2H pencils too.
For watercolours you'll need a watercolour pan set, a size 6 brush, watercolour paper, an old rag and water jar.
How Long Do The Classes Last?
Most classes run between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the subject and format.

Do You Offer Recorded Classes?
Yes. Recorded lessons are available for students who prefer to learn at their own pace. Please follow the links to youtube and patreon.
Is Learning Online Or In Person Better?
Many students find online classes convenient, affordable and effective because they can learn from home and revisit recorded content. They also get an uninterrupted view so personally, I think they are better.
How Much Does It Cost?
I offer some free online video's, or drawing classes from £7 and watercolour classes from £15.
Can I Ask Questions During The Online Classes Or Is It Just The Teacher Talking?
Yes. Live classes are interactive and questions are encouraged throughout.
